Our Story
Founded in 2012 in Toamasina (Tamatave), Chrismiatours Madagascar was created from a passion for showcasing the extraordinary diversity of Madagascar through authentic, tailor-made travel experiences.
From the very beginning, our vision has been to go beyond traditional tourism by designing journeys that connect travelers with the island’s unique landscapes, rich cultural heritage and warm local communities. Over the years, we have developed a reputation for creating meaningful experiences ranging from luxury holidays and exclusive expeditions to eco-tourism, community-based travel and bespoke incentive programs.
A major milestone was reached in 2017 with the acquisition of the Reine Tina, the only floating hotel on the Pangalanes Canal. This unique vessel has become one of our signature experiences, offering travelers an immersive journey through the waterways, fishing villages and untouched natural beauty of Madagascar’s East Coast.
