Last fall, students at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) were fully engaged in a project intended to create a number of composite sled prototypes. The project was facilitated by the Institute for Advanced Composites Manufacturing Innovation (IACMI). Though the project may not mean much to people outside of the composites industry, it is a perfect illustration of why we offer composite prototyping as a service.
