Cold Weather Clothing For Riding & The Outdoors Tony Suits I have been in a lot of discussions lately about the appropriate gear for riding during the cold month’s. Everyone is always looking for an option to extend their fall riding season, and to start their spring rides earlier as well. Up until now, folks had to get really “thick” with their clothing, using coveralls and a lot of layers. Some resorted to the new clothing with battery operated heating ele- ments. In both cases, the great idea ended up being a sweating event turned to freezing catastrophe. There really was no real solution. That is, until the introduction of Merino Wool.
