5 TIPS FOR A GOOD SMALL TALK Make a comment about your surroundings – for example, favorite music, movies, favorite food, homework, friends or some event in common. Ask questions. Try to find something you have in common: “Do you like this class? Or do you like to dance?” Don´t ask personal questions, for example about if someone is married or not. Now you can try to find the surroundings of the other person. Learn about what´s going on in the world, you can read or watch the news to have an interesting topic conversation. Also you can talk about interesting things that you discovered on internet. Take your time. Don´t rush the conversation. You can speak slowly and seem relaxed. Answer people´s question with interesting or funny stories. You can make a joke too. Make the people laugh, it always works.
