A year and a half after the reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris, the restoration work continues. This ninth issue of the Fabrique de Notre-Dame looks back on the work carried out since July 2025: completion of the covering on the spire, reinstallation of the sixteen large statues of the apostles and the symbols of the evangelists, opening of a new visitor route following the restoration of the two towers, and the launch of the third major phase of works. Originally planned before the fire, this phase aims to address the damage caused by the passage of time. Work has thus begun on the restoration of the entire chevet (its elevations, flying buttresses and stained-glass windows), as well as the exterior of the sacristy. This issue also offers a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the six contemporary stained-glass windows designed by Claire Tabouret for the cathedral, at the Atelier Simon-Marq in Reims.
