The total transfer fee is reportedly $15 million, shattering the previous record Toronto FC payed for Michael Bradley of $10 million. There is potential for some additional fees paid, as in order to get the deal finalized, Atlanta United promised CA Independiente 30 percent of all future sales if he is sold before 2019 and 10 percent for any sale after 2019.
