Why I Am Not A Calvinist? 5:5. By: Dr. José A. Talavera. The five point Calvinist says this: “The people of God will persevere until the end and will not be lost. Those that are previously known are predestined, the predestined are called, the called are justified, and the justified are glorified. Not one of this group is lost. To belong to this group is to be eternally secure…We mean that the saints will and must persevere in the obedience that comes from faith. The election is unconditional, but the glorification is not. There are many warnings in the Scriptures that those that do not embrace Christ soon can be lost in the end…Our faith must continue to the end if we are of the saved”1
This is what is called the Principle of inevitability – which comes from the belief of predestination. ..
