CODES AND CONVENTIONS The codes and conventions of music videos vary among each individual genre. However, the features for dance music videos are identifiable through the frequent use of vibrant lights, a good setting and a relatively fast pace. These are arguably the most important factors that every dance music video should show. It is important that I apply elements like this combined with my own individual ideas to make my video interesting and distinctive compared to others.
