Hundreds of dogs saved every year. All breeds, ages and backgrounds Help us to help them Our mission is to rescue and re-home, abandoned and abused dogs from the streets of Lancashire,giving them a second chance at a life filled with love and security. When a dog is found straying and collected by the Dog Warden, their kennel fees are paid forby the council for 7 days. This gives the owners some time to locate their dog and claim them back. At the end of the 7 day period, there is no-one to pay the kennel fees and the dog is at risk of being put to sleep. Healthy, beautiful, loving dogs are euthanised because they have been let down by their humans. This is when Homeless Hounds step in. We save these poor dogs and give them security, vet treatments, exercise, training and love, until we can find them their perfect FUREVER homes.
