You will also find a Lab Procedure Summary to refer to when making KöR whitening trays. Do not trim or pour the impressions if you are sending them to the KöR Laboratory. Step 1: Trim the Impressions 1. Examine the impressions to look for undercuts that may cause some difficulty separating the models from the impressions. These overhanging vestibular undercuts are typically found on the upper facial and lower lingual vestibular extensions. 2. Using a sharp blade (X-Acto knife or scalpel), trim (slightly flare) facial overhanging vestibular areas of the impression back to make removal of the model from the impression easier and safer.
