On September 12, 2016, the Hospital was required to use equipment and items in association with patient care that was safe to use in the manner instructed or directed by Hospital employees. The Defendants and their employees had a duty to only provide Amy Staples with equipment and items, including a place to sit, that was reasonably safe for its intended purpose and for its expected use.
