Marius LE CHENADEC The serf’s life 1)What is the work like ?What does the serk woman and man do ? The serf’s life is very difficult because they work every day execpt Sunday. They all rise at first light auf dawn. The men work in the fields, they collect their tools. First, they break up the earth. Then, they plow and plant the seeds. They pull up the weeds and finally tehy harvest the grains. The women do the gardening, do the cooking, take care of their animals. They prepare the meals with vegetables from the garden :beans, peas and radishes. 2)What does the serf eat and drink ? The serf eats pigs, fish, cows, chickens and peas, beans and radishes. The serf drinks beers and water. The serf eats barley and rye from the fields. 3)What do serfs wear ? The serfs wear tunics and hose
