Making an impression of an Axiom®FE implant using the POP-IN technique 03 Making an impression of the implant allows to accurately record its location in all three planes. A dedicated transfer coping must be used to achieve an accurate master model from which the laboratory will fabricate the final restoration. The Pop-in technique is also called «Closed Tray Indirect Transfer Impression Technique». COMPONENTS/INSTRUMENTS REQUIRED Hexagonal wrenches INCHECV INCHELV Pop-in Transfer coping OPPI100 Implant analog OPIA100 1 2 Unique connection system: One Pop-in transfer coping and one implant analog fits all implant diameters. 4 3 - Remove the healing screw or provisional using the long hexagonal wrench IN CHELV. - Thread the pop-in transfer coping into the implant immediately after indexing to minimize the risk of soft tissue collapse. EDo not forget to block out the access to the transfer coping screw with wax before taking the impression. - Use a commercially available impression tray. -
