The Eight Pointed Cross Materials used: Plywood PVC Light coloured wood Fiberboard Foam Cloth White bottle caps Dark coloured wood and plastic Clear plastic I did the sculpture by first sectioning out the eight parts of the Maltese cross on a piece of cardboard. I then chose the materials for each section. When I was satisfied, I cut the material to the correct measurements and then glue them to the designated sections on the cardboard. When I was done with gluing, I cut out the extra cardboard from the sculpture. Finally, I glued the sculpture on a piece of plywood so it would be more steady. I chose the eight pointed cross because it has a big part in the Maltese culture and heritage. Kendra Galea
