ALASKA R O Y A L C O A C H M A N L O D G E Alaska’s finest fly out fishing lodge since 1970 T HE Royal Coachman Lodge is located on the Nuyakuk River in the heart of the world famous Bristol Bay sport fishing region of Southwest Alaska in the 1.6 million acre Wood-Tikchik State Park. The Bristol Bay region is undoubtedly the premier fishing area of Alaska and has the largest salmon runs in the world. Nowhere else on earth will you find such a variety of sportfish. The sheer numbers of fish supported by this fishery is incredible. Within the area we fish, all five species of Pacific salmon; kings, silvers, sockeye, chum and pinks, and seven species of freshwater gamefish including, rainbow trout, dolly varden, arctic char, arctic grayling, northern pike, lake trout, and sheefish, can be caught.
