The story of thanksgiving ONCE UPON A TIME in 1620, a group of puritan people called the pilgrims Father left Europe. They were persecuted in England because of their religion. So one day, they decided to embark on board the Mayflower, a big ship for the New World; thus they crossed the Atlantic Ocean. They took with them in their luggage a one chest, few tools, and some cooking utensils. And, of course, a bible box! They could also take a few animals. Life was very hard on board. They could not wash except with sea water and many of them were sick, but staying on the main deck was very dangerous because sometimes the sea was very rough. They couldn't make a fire to keep one because ship could take fire. During the trip, a baby was born but there was a passenger died too.
