A historical look at Tonbridge Angels through the eyes of their supporters Part 2: Season 2010-11, featuring the Ryman Premier Play-off Final The season of 2010-11 had a rousing finale with play-off victories against Harrow Borough and Lowestoft Town to elevate the Angels into Conference South, the club’s highest league status in their history. There was nothing in August 2010 that suggested that come the season’s end such a finale would transpire. Manager Tommy Warrilow brought several new faces to the club during the summer. Arriving from Dover were Frannie Collin, Lee Browning and Danny Walder; Peter Hawkins joined from Maidstone United, Jake Beecroft from Rushden and Diamonds and Jacob Mingle from Braintree. Joing Tommy as his assistant manager was ex-playing favourite, Alex O’Brien.
