Biotypes From birth, through genetics, the structure of our body is destined to follow a certain pattern, there are three types: Mesomorph, ectomorph and endomorph. Mesomorph: The mesomorphs appear stout, square with relatively bulky thorax and shoulders noticeably wider than the waist, presenting a "V" shaped trunk. They usually have strong, toned arms. Ectomorph: Ectomorphs have a fragile body with a thin constitution. They have very little musculature as well as a very low percentage of body fat. Its shoulders forward and its fine joints are also characteristic of this biotype Endomorph: The endomorphs have a round, flaccid appearance. They present little musculature and the little that they have is hidden behind a significant amount of adipose tissue. They are characterized by wide waist, short clavicles and thick joints.
