Labour Aberdeen South Candidate: Shona Simpson HEALTH  Labour want to increase spending on the NHS by an average of 4.3% a year, a larger increase than both the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats. They pledge to end and reverse all privatisation of the NHS. There is also aim to increase sugary drink taxes and ban fast food restaurants from locating near schools in a healthy eating initiative. BREXIT  Labour would rip up Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal and negotiate a new one with the EU within three months, and then put the deal to a referendum within six months of coming to power. IMMIGRATION  Labour would like to compromise on immigration by continuing with free movement of people within the EU which will be renegotiated if brexit moves forward past the referendum. They aim to improve the rights of people to bring family members to the UK, and to end minimum income requirements.
