Mag 4 2016 April Fools Day Issue Emag 17 Formed in 1988 for golfers of all abilities around the borders of Dorset, Somerset & Wilts (OK, and a few Hampshire Hogs as well ) to promote and play Golf in a happy, fun, enjoyable and competitive way . The Three Shires Golfing Society F our rounds played and four mags done, or as someone would say, “get-a-life!” There is at last a feeling that Spring is nearly here, swallows are around, and Collared Doves and Blackbirds are feeding young in my garden already—its just a shame that the temperature is crap, and the rain is as wet as ever. Anyway, round 4 at Stoneham, after a cool start, was played on a lovely day and outer clothings were able to be shod during the round. Despite many members being away either working or at Cheltenham Races, there was still a good entry of 25 with David C bringing a guest, Jerry Barr from Ashley Wood, and we have had yet another virgin winner in Ray C with the very narrowest of countback wins over Nigel on 35 poi
