There are three types of trophic pyramids: Number pyramid: It shows the “Number of individuals at each trophic level by the unit of area or volume”. Biomass pyramid: It shows the “Amount of organic matter by the unit of area or volume”. Energy pyramid: It shows the “Energy stored at each trophic level at a certain time”.
