Quick Technical Information (LB 81) 016 No Rotate/Boom Position Fault Conditions: Machine will not rotate, and LCD screen shows 016 Lift Boom Fault/ Boom stowed LED doesn't flash when boom is elevated (LED will remain lit while boom is in stowed position) Boom Stowed Indicator LED Tools Required: Digital Multimeter 1. Auto-level outriggers and set machine, Raise boom out of cradle. (Machine should not rotate while the boom is stowed, this ensures the Jib Paddle Limit Switches front cradle will not be damaged. Lift boom from lower controls and observe if Boom stowed LED begins to flash) 2. LED should begin flashing once the jib stowed paddle switches are released (3522A/4527A/5533A/6543A) Boom cradle switches (all booms) 3. Check boom stowed limit switches for activation/deactivation by listening for clicking sound off/on 4. Observe if LED begins to flash after ensuring limit switches have been triggered off/on 5.
