Here is a critique of conventional biblical dating systems that rely on proleptic BC/AD calendars & Ptolemy’s Canon of Kings, arguing that such obscure original regal-year methods & force-fit the 483-year prophecy of Daniel 9 through numerical adjustments. Instead, it proposes an independent “Chronology by Prophesy” grounded in Scripture (Ezekiel 4, Jeremiah 25, Daniel 9, & Solomon’s reign), asserting exactly 1000 years from the dedication of Solomon’s Temple to the baptism of Jesus as the Christ—comprising Solomon’s faithful years, Israel’s 390 years of apostasy, 70 years of exile, Ezekiel’s final 40 unfaithful years, & the 483 years of Daniel’s sixty-nine weeks. This 1000-year span is shown to average 999.4 years across 14 historical chronologies, & under the Masoretic Text it places Adam’s sin (the true “foundation of the world,” marked by the first blood atonement) approximately 4,000 years before Christ’s baptism.
