As for Easter, neither Gregorian (Catholic) nor Julian (Orthodox) dates follow the Nicene rule: ‘The 1st Sunday after the 1st full moon on or after the Vernal Equinox.’ This adaptation of Meeus Method is offered to Find the PFM (Easter Full Moon) in iOS Numbers. Here are formula of Meeus Full Moon calculation to find Pascal or Easter Full Moon (PFM) using “ios Numbers” given an Astronomical year, Y.. The Astronomical Full Moon & Equinox dates, are compared to Gregorian calendar method for finding Easter. The worst error of Catholic Easter was to choose March20 as γ Equinox. For the Gregorian γdate is not fixed but varies due to effect of leap years. Additionally the epact method finds a PFM that is off by +/- 0.45days.
