Sister Maricris goes to pray with the high school students; she was very nervous (…) “I was well prepared to introduce the prayer at the beginning of classes. I had a sheet of paper in my hand with the text I would read. But when I found myself standing before an assembly of more than 800 Chinese students, and about a hundred faculty and administrative staff members, I felt the paper trembling in my hand. A moment of confusion ensued. At that moment, I just wanted to crawl into a hole. Back home, I was determined to write to the Superior General to tell her that I wasn’t ready for such mission.
