Brolga Vol 13 Number 2 June 2024 Striated Pardalote (Kate Lacy) BirdLife Capricornia Contents The winter months are full of community events Resilient Rural Living expo at Cawarral 2 with St Lawrence Wetlands Weekend being one Birds of Welford NP 2 annual event that we have attended for nearly 20 Aquatic Conservation Assessment workshop 3 years. Other events such as Butterfly Day has World Bird Day 4 not been held since the COVID outbreak and the Trip report: North Keppel Island (Konomie) 5 Resilient Rural Living Expo is a new event having Aquatic weeds around Rockhampton 7 it’s debut in 2024. Butterfly Day 10 St Lawrence Wetlands Weekend 12 There were also field trips to Konomie and Trip report: Iwasaki Wetlands 14 Iwasaki Wetlands. The Theodore Centenary Watercolour Workshops Hinkler Hall of Aviation celebrations was a special event that we attended Bundaberg 15 at the invitation of the Upper Dawson Branch of Book review 16 WPSQ.
