Yeakley Heather Yeakley UWRT 1102 Instructor: Fran Voltz 3 December 2014 EIP Reflection Final Draft The first idea that came to mind for me to research when we were given the EIP assignment was cancer. This thought was undeveloped. There was no specificity to it, there was no portion of cancer that I wanted to research in particular, but I knew that I wanted to research cancer. While I was writing my proposal I decided that I could narrow the focus into childhood cancers. This thought came to mind because I want to work with children, so I enjoy learning about them even if that means learning about treacherous ordeals they may experience such as cancer. In my final paper, I ended up writing about the two most common forms of cancer and their treatment options. I chose this over focusing on childhood cancers because I started writing about childhood cancers and it became apparent that the topic was still too broad.
