Every year at Lehman College is special to me, but this one is a personal milestone: the 2014-2015 academic year marks my 25th year as President. It has been the journey of a lifetime for me and, as proud as I am of this incredible institution and our amazing accomplishments thus far, we have even greater goals and achievements planned for the future. In this issue of Lehman Today, we focus on our efforts to double the number of Lehman students who study abroad in the next ten years (p.13). When students spend a semester abroad, or even just a few weeks in the winter or during the summer session, they not only gain invaluable knowledge but also experiences that broaden their horizons and forever change the way they see themselves and the world.
