The Bulldog NOVEMBER 2014 The Art of Decision Making When it comes to the condition of our futures, many of us fall into a state of fearful apprehension. We realize that if we don’t make the right decisions, the welfare of our lives can be jeopardy, and some of us don’t even know the extent of the choices we have. Some of us are also confined to the limits that our parents, common stereotypes in certain industries, and fear and self-doubt set for us. In what seems like two seconds, we’re thrown from the carefree bliss of enjoying our summers and catapulted into the ever-growing pile of stressful futureplanninganddecision-makingwe call high school. Especially in the midst of our fourth year in high school, stress levels seem to fluctuate a whole lot. One day we know (or think we know) which career we would like to pursue, and the next day, we’re questioning if that goal is even possible, if we’re good enough, and if it’s the right choice. We ponder things like university/college options
