A CAMPAIGN FOR THE DIOCESE OF PHOENIX AND ST. TIMOTHY CATHOLIC CHURCH M y dad always used to tell me, especially after big camping trips: “Always leave a place better than you found it.” 40 years ago, a group of individuals gathered together to talk about a new Catholic Church that would serve the residents of Dobson Ranch and the surrounding community. These individuals planned for the future and made great sacrifices to establish our Parish. I seriously doubt that any of them thought this community would grow to be the dynamic, engaged and spirit-filled Parish it is today. Since its founding, St. Timothy has been an example to other parishes in the Diocese of Phoenix and across the country of how to evangelize and how to build community. When I think about my own story at St. Timothy, I am humbled and amazed. This is the Parish where I came back to my faith.
