Jason Ravin WALKING THE Professor of Political Science WALKING THE Jason Ravin, professor of political science here at Texas Southern University, is not only talking the talk but walking the walk... all around the world. Being a Houston native, Ravin was compelled to give back to his community by accepting a teaching position at our beloved TSU after spending a decade outside of Texas. After attending Cypress Falls High School he traveled to the East Coast on a debate scholarship, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science from Howard University and during that time was also selected for the coveted Presidential Fellowship program. He then traveled to the United Kingdom to attend the prestigious London School of Economics, where he received his Master's in Government. The following years he traveled from to countries such as Brazil, Bermuda, France, Ghana, Sweden, and the Netherlands, just to name a few.
