Anticipated problem for learners: As their linguistic competency is very poor, Ss will certainly find it
extremely difficult to start with the complex comp. & sup. forms of quantifiers combined with countable &
uncountable nouns.
Solution: to start with the basic forms: (many, few, much, little) with countable & uncountable nouns.
Ss are also asked to see pp 216-217 for more info.
