Landmark Capital, a venture of investors David Wu and Paal Utvik, invests in offshore drilling rigs as well financing vessels such as Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS), platform Supply Vessels (PSVs), LPG ships and LNG tankers. The firm was a founding investor of Maritime & Merchant Bank (M&M), a shipping bank based in Norway, announced in 2013. It already owns a semi submersible drilling rig, Shell Nanhai 7. Shell Nanhai BV and CNOOC Petrochemicals Investment Limited (CPIL) are collaborating in the CPC petrochemical complex in Guangdong and in the Daya Bay of the South China Sea.
