LNG JOURNAL PUBLICATION 12 May 2015 LNG Unlimited Eni Chief Executive Claudio Descalzi has met in the Mozambican capital Maputo with the nation's President Filipe Nyusi to discuss the Italian energy company's plans for liquefied natural gas projects. Eni said that Descalzi and the Mozambican leader were meeting for the first time since Nyusi was elected in January 2015. Exploring The Italian company is exploring the development of two Floating LNG ventures for its discoveries to take away the security risks of onshore facilities. "The meeting was also an opportunity for Eni's CEO to update the President on the progress of ongoing projects in Mozambique over the development of the Area 4, where resources of approximately 85 trillion cubic feet of gas in place have been so far discovered," said Eni.
