Applications of tungsten carbide roll rings
The use of tungsten carbide is growing vigorously in recent years due to its superior wear
resistance and hardness. Selecting the most suitable grade of tungsten carbide as in case of
other engineered materials is a prerequisite for its optimum utilization. Tungsten carbides
are available in various forms specified by dimensional tolerances and come in different
shapes and sizes such as rectangular and square blanks, rounds, tungsten carbide roll
rings, tubing in various sizes ranges best defined by manufacturers. For toolmakers,
