FREE OCTOBER 15, 2014 | Volume 5, No. 12 RiverTALK The Enderby Library Friends will be holding their 14th used book sale at the Seniors Centre on Friday, October 17 from 5-8pm and Saturday, October 18 from 10am – 4pm. Formed in 2001, the Library Friends are community members who volunteer their time and resources to raise money for programs, services and equipment needed in our community library but not funded by the Okanagan Regional Library . The ELF program has in the past funded reading programs, special guests, and childrens’ reading programs, especially in the summer. The fund-raising goal for this year’s sale is $1,300. If you have any used books please drop them off at Marketplace IGA or the Enderby Library before the book sale or bring them by the Seniors Centre the day of the sale.
