FREE FREE FREE RiverTALK December 16, 2016 | Volume 7, No.17 More local businesses made their voices heard at this year’s business walk. Twenty volunteers from the City of Enderby, Ender- by and District Chamber of Commerce and Community Futures North Okanagan vis- ited 66 businesses in the com- mercial and industrial areas, representing a 24.5 per cent increase from last year. The business walk is a pro- active tool for supporting business retention and ex- pansion. Businesses were asked a se- ries of questions that provide the city with information rel- ative to community econom- ic trends and challenges. The results show that 40 per cent of respondents said busi- ness was good or increasing, 43 per cent are experiencing fair or steady business and 17 per cent said things are in a slow or poor state.
