FREE November 20, 2015 | Volume 6, No.15 FREE November 20, 2015 | Volume 6, No.15 River RiverTALK TALK Housing options for seniors just got a boost in Enderby. The Enderby Seniors Housing Society was successful with its proposal to construct 36 more units of seniors’ housing as a separate extension to Enderby Memorial Terrace on Granville Avenue. The society already operates 15 units of affordable housing and the new facility will provide housing for low-income seniors and people with disabilities. Shuswap MLA Greg Kyllo was on hand to make the Nov. 10 announcement along with Mayor Greg McCune, housing society president Peter Gilowski and Memorial Terrace manager Barry Fawcett. “Our seniors’ population is growing and projects like these help seniors remain independent and active members of the community,” said the MLA.
