FREE August 28, 2015 | Volume 6, No.09 FREE August 28, 2015 | Volume 6, No.09 RiverRiverTALKTALK Enderby and District Recreation Services wants to help people get active. Get Active in Enderby and Area is a community information and registration day Sept. 10 where people can learn more about the many recreation programs offered locally this fall and winter and register for programs. The spring/summer recreation program guide was well received but a survey into recreation services revealed a need to do more, explained Sheryl Hay, recreation programmer. Sheryl and Kaylee Wells, recreation administrator, have worked together to create a better fall/winter guide featuring 34 programs and have organized the Get Active Day. “We have many new programs including adult and youth drop-in shinny times, a non-competitive hockey program, Pro-D camps and holiday camps, preschool programs, seven new fitness classes and some with child minding,” said Sheryl.
