FREE OCTOBER 1, 2014 | Volume 5, No. 11 RiverTALK Grants Given to Enderby Groups By Teresa Andrews Dave Williamson, branch manager, Enderby and District Financial, (our credit union) recently proudly shared information regarding financial grant gifts to Enderby organizations from the Enderby Financial Community Endowment. “Enderby and District Community Resources Centre Society received $7,000 for its Family Place,” said Dave. “Nexus BC Community Resource Centre Society received $4,400 to deliver computer literacy workshops for Enderby-area seniors. Kingfisher Interpretive Centre received $4,216 to fund their experiential outdoor educational field trips. As well, Enderby Preschool Society received $3,130 for funding for snacks for preschool and after school care programs.” He noted, “this is accomplished because First West Credit Union, the parent organization for Enderby Financial, provides an annual donation to the First West Foundation.
