Handling Sunday School Class is considered by many people as their vocation and mission.
Teachers conducting this class are volunteers – they offer their time to the church to help the
small children of church members learn the words of God through their lessons.
In some religious groups, small children are taught some prayers, as well as the Ten
Commandments, which is basic and which children must learn. Examples that children can
easily understand are given. Children also play games that teach them relevant and desirable
values in life.
Middle school Sunday lessons include bible stories that are simplified to make their meanings
easy to grasp by the young students. The story books have colorful illustrations to make them
more appealing to the children. In addition, stories about popular bible characters are chosen.
The familiarity of the story makes it easy for the children to appreciate and understand.
