Introduction:
The ultimate achieve of this fashion show is opening the door to many
more bright and beautiful faces. To break the gender binary, and
ultimately take a stance for visibility, giving a face to a group of
human beings, who deserve it.
This fashion show is taking what is conceived high-fashion beauty and
applying in the same regards to a more androgynous male model, and
even transgendered models and erasing the needs for the gender binary
in establishing beauty.
But the cherry on top and the reason being for the entire show, and
even the blessings of Karl Lagerfeld, is to raise awareness and to
gather funds the gender society of Chicago, trail blazing efforts to
house homeless LGBT youth.
