Young Life in the Auburn-Opelika area
consists of 80 volunteer leaders at five
different high schools and four middle
schools. The goal of these leaders is to
enter the world of teenagers on their
turf and build a friendship of trust that
earns them the right to be heard and
share the message of Jesus Christ.
These leaders understand that half the
battle is simply showing up.
Consistently showing up to the school
lunchroom, parking lot, or practices
and games leads kids to respond. Yet
none of that matters without prayer
and total dependence on God to change
the lives of kids.
