The Mansion sits on two acres of land, maintained by local
garden enthusiasts and other Garden Club volunteers. The
grounds feature the Alabama-shaped swimming pool,
tennis courts, beautiful gardens, and sculptures.
The swimming pool was added during the George
Wallace administration. The gardens feature a variety of
native plants, as well as camellias, the state flower. There
