HESSEQUA MUNICIPALITY - PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in terms of Section 46 of the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), Act 56 of 2003, that Hessequa Municipality intends to incur long-term debt under contract HES-FIN 03/2526 for the TAKING UP OF AN EXTERNAL LOAN. FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with Section 21A of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, that: 1. The local community and all interested or affected parties are invited to submit written comments or representations regarding the Municipality’s intention to incur long-term debt and the associated financial obligations. 2. The following documents are available for public inspection for the duration of the commenting period: • The information statement detailing the purpose of the debt, the total amount to be incurred, the anticipated cost, the proposed repayment terms, and any security to be provided, as required by Section 46(3) of the MFMA; and • Any other relevant documents
