Gondwana Game Reserve is looking for a new BIOMONITORING ASSISTANT to join our dynamic conservation department. Under the supervision of the Conservation Manager, you will be a part of a team responsible for the effective implementation of all conservation projects and activities throughout this 10 750 hectare property. Specifically, your role will require dedication and diligence as you ensure accurate data collection, capture and dissemination for ongoing monitoring and scientific projects. This physically demanding position will test your problem-solving skills both in the field and in the office. Computer competency is a pre-requisite and whilst working unsupervised for most of the time, self-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines will be essential. Experience of working with CMORE, MIRADI and ArcGIS Survey 123 will be advantageous, as will working with big 5.
