MAY 13 - 26, 2024 North Dade Justice Center th celebrates 66 annual LAW DAY BY ELAINE ADLER E ach year, Judge Linda Singer Stein and Judge Myriam Lehr from the North Dade Justice Center (NDJC) chair the annual LAW DAY program, working in close partnership with the Aventura M a r keting Council/Chamber of Commerce (AMC). And for the past 25 years, these programs have been outstanding, drawing top-tier speakers, from Florida Supreme Court Justices to television personalities in the legal arena. But Judge Stein wanted this LAW DAY program to not only honor LAW DAY, the annual commemoration to celebrate the rule of law and to cultivate a deeper understanding of the legal system, but to honor her close friend and LAW DAY Co- Founder, Judge Lehr, who would be retiring from the bench at the end of 2024.
