Dabbawalas provided the lunch box for those Indian from their home those worked in the British offices at that time. The reason for this was that they didn’t wanted to take English food. The services of dabbawala were always appreciative so after independence of India they keep giving their services to the people of Mumbai. Now 5000 dabbawalas are providing their service around whole Mumbai and 200,000 lunchbox reaching their proper places every day.
