Green Operated Transportation Carrying Humanity Around or the GOTCHA ride
provides free eco-friendly transportation to students and faculty of select universities in Florida,
Georgia and Alabama.
Florida State University graduates Sean Flood and Drew Sfugaras
founded and launched the GOTCHA ride in 2008.
After hearing friends and FSU students complain about parking tickets, drunken driving
offenses and expensive taxis, Flood and Sfugaras came up with the idea for the GOTCHA ride.
The GOTCHA ride is free and can go anywhere within a five-mile radius of the university
campus on which they are located.
Revenue for the company comes from advertisement space on
and within each GOTCHA vehicle.
The GOTCHA ride vehicles are 100 percent battery operated
and can travel up to 35 mph.
Currently, the GOTCHA ride is located at Florida State University, the University of
Florida, Auburn University, the University of Alabama and the Georgia Insti
