The Coca-Cola Company first began at the
hands of John Pemberton in 1886 as an attempt
at a patent medicine.
Originally called coca
wine, the recipe was formulated in Columbus,
Ga at the Eagle Drug and Chemical Company.
Little did Pemberton know, the company
would soon become the largest soda creator
and distributor in the world.
Coca-Cola is now
sold in vending machines and stores all around
the world in every country except Cuba and
North Korea.
Due to the extreme popularity of
the product, the company split into a bottling,
distribution, and merchandise company.
